Hi Samuel. What do you do at Prograin and how long have you been working here?
I am a Team Leader and all-rounder replacement. I have been with the company for 10 years now. My tasks are to start the machines in the morning, replace people when needed, train new employees, help with production, communicate the information to the day and evening team and ensure the compliance of the containers before they leave the factory.
Did you complete any specific program in order to do this job?
Did you know anything about soybeans before you began working at Prograin?
Not at all.
Did you know about Prograin before you began working there?
Yes, I had heard about the company through my father-in-law. He works for TSM, a transportation company that unloads farmers’ soybeans directly at Prograin.
What do you think sets Prograin apart from other companies?

What’s your biggest day-to-day challenge?
Conformity of the final products. That is, ensuring that containers, bags and pallets are properly identified and contain the right product.

I can be seen at the park or zoo with my children or at car events (race or car meeting).
