Under the supervision of the VP Finance & Administration, the IT Business Analyst will have to work on optimizing the SAP Business One (ERP) management system and the MJ (MES) system currently in place. He will also have to participate in the design and implementation of certain business processes in order to achieve greater efficiency and automation. Finally, data analysis, problem solving and user support will be an integral part of his work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the design of solutions for new features;
Analyze and document requests relating to the systems in place: ERP (SAP), MES (MJ), WMS and web platforms;
Identify and document specifications and changes to new and existing features;
Act as liaison between developers and users to ensure technical compatibility and meet the needs of both parties;
Advise and assist users with a view to improving and optimizing productivity;
Organize demonstration and training workshops for users;
Provide support for users of software and mobile applications;
Analyze and ensure the integrity of system data;
Implement improvements to the data analysis process;
Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of processes taking into account the evolution of business practices;
Perform other related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a DEC or BACC in Computer Science or Administration with a strong interest in IT or any other equivalent training and experience
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of SQL databases (an asset)
Experience in implementing an ERP and/or CRM system (Asset)
Be proactive and have a team spirit
Have a strong analytical mind and ability to synthesize
Possess natural strengths in organization, planning and project management
Be bilingual, both spoken and written (will need to communicate with our sister company in Ontario).
