Hi Josée. What do you do at Prograin and how long have you been working here?
I have been an administrative assistant at Prograin since 2020. I like to add multifunction to my title, since I give a helping hand to several departments. When I arrived, I was in charge of writing administrative procedures and helping the export department with the documentation.
Now I’m in charge of providing support for the procurement, completing scale tickets for truck loads, preparing B13 for export, assigning IT helpdesk tickets and creating lockout sheets for production. Since 2021, I’ve also been at reception to take calls and take care of stationery/coffee inventory, and more.
Did you complete any specific program in order to do this job?
I am a documentation technician. I have also developed various skills related to this position with my former jobs.
Did you know anything about soybeans before you began working at Prograin?
No, I was familiar with soy products such as tofu, but not its culture.
Did you know about Prograin before you began working there?
Not at all.
What do you think sets Prograin apart from other companies?
